Wasser schafft Zukunft- Unsere Kooperation mit Africa Amini Alama
Wir freuen uns sehr, gemeinsam mit Dr. Cornelia Wallner-Friese und Africa Amini Alama ein nachhaltiges Projekt in Tansania umgesetzt zu haben: den Bau eines solarbetriebenen Brunnens.
Vor kurzem hatte Kurt Asamer die Gelegenheit, das Projekt vor Ort zu besichtigen. Besonders beeindruckt hat ihn, wie effizient und wirkungsvoll die eingesetzten Mittel genutzt wurden: „Bei uns hätte das gesamte Werk- Brunnen, Photovoltaik, Retentionsbecken und Verteilerleitungen – wahrscheinlich mindestens das Dreifache gekostet. Die professionelle technische Umsetzung ist sofort ersichtlich. “
Was ihn jedoch noch mehr beeindruckt hat, war das Ergebnis: Rund um den Brunnen ist alles grün, die Permakultur- Felder sind fruchtbar und voller Leben- während die umliegende Landschaft karg und trocken ist. Man sieht unmittelbar, welchen Unterschied Wasser hier macht.
Unter dem Leitgedanken „Ohne Wasser kein Essen“ ermöglicht der Brunnen nun eine ganzjährige Bewässerung der ökologisch bewirtschafteten Felder. Dadurch werden künftig mindestens zwei Ernten pro Jahr möglich und die Versorgung von über 2.500 Kindern nachhaltig gesichert.
Überzeugt durch die Ganzheitlichkeit: Projekt Africa Amini Alama und ihr Kreislauf aus Medizin, Ökologie und Bildung
Was uns an Africa Amini Alama besonders beeindruckt, ist die Ganzheitlichkeit des Ansatzes. Medizinische Versorgung, Bildung, ökologische Landwirtschaft, Frauenförderung und soziale Projekte greifen über viele Jahre hinweg gewachsen ineinander.
In Montessori-orientierten Schulen werden Kinder nicht nur unterrichtet, sondern in ihrer Persönlichkeit gestärkt. Parallel dazu sorgt eine eigene regenerative Landwirtschaft mit nährstoffreichen Ursorten- darunter besonders nährstoffreicher Mais – für gesunde Ernährung. Präventivmedizinische Programme, eine Polyklinik, Outreach-Angebote in abgelegenen Regionen sowie soziale Initiativen für Familien ergänzen dieses gewachsene System.
Africa Amini Alama wurde 2009 von DDr. Christine Wallner gegründet, die seither vor Ort lebt und arbeitet. Gemeinsam mit ihrer Tochter Mag. Dr. Cornelia Wallner-Friese ist über die Jahre ein Netzwerk aus Gesundheitsversorgung, Bildung und nachhaltiger Landwirtschaft entstanden.
Was uns dabei besonders beeindruckt, ist die konsequente Aufbauarbeit über viele Jahre hinweg – Schritt für Schritt, gemeinsam mit der lokalen Bevölkerung und mit Unterstützung vieler Menschen aus Afrika und Europa.
Wir schätzen diese langfristige Entwicklung sehr und freuen uns, einen kleinen Beitrag dazu leisten zu können.

Water Creates Opportunity – Our Partnership with Africa Amini Alama
We are very pleased to have realized a sustainable project in Tanzania together with Dr. Cornelia Wallner-Friese and Africa Amini Alama: the construction of a solar-powered well.
Recently, Kurt Asamer had the opportunity to visit the project on site. What impressed him most was how efficiently and effectively the funds had been used:
"In our country, the entire project – the well, photovoltaic system, retention basin and distribution pipelines – would probably have cost at least three times as much. The professional technical implementation is immediately apparent."
What impressed him even more, however, was the result: around the well everything is green, the permaculture fields are fertile and full of life – while the surrounding landscape remains dry and barren. It is immediately clear what a difference access to water can make.
Under the guiding principle “No Water, No Food,” the well now enables year-round irrigation of the organically cultivated fields. This makes at least two harvests per year possible and sustainably secures the food supply for more than 2,500 children.
Convinced by the Holistic Approach: Africa Amini Alama and its Cycle of Medicine, Ecology and Education
What impresses us most about Africa Amini Alama is the holistic nature of its work. Medical care, education, ecological agriculture, women’s empowerment and social initiatives have grown together over many years and reinforce one another.
In Montessori-oriented schools, children are not only taught but also supported in developing confidence and independence. At the same time, the organization’s own regenerative agriculture – including nutrient-rich heritage crops such as particularly nutritious maize – ensures healthy nutrition. Preventive medical programs, a polyclinic, outreach services in remote regions, as well as social initiatives supporting families complement this well-established system.
Africa Amini Alama was founded in 2009 by DDr. Christine Wallner, who has lived and worked on site ever since. Together with her daughter, Mag. Dr. Cornelia Wallner-Friese, a network of healthcare, education and sustainable agriculture has developed over the years.
What we find particularly impressive is the consistent work that has gone into building this structure over many years – step by step, together with the local community and with the support of many people from Africa and Europe.
